The Chautauqua Series is presented on a donation basis for enrichment of the community and all donations go directly to the featured and opening performers. The program will be held at ThePlace@TheWoodward (101 S. Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon) in this first floor facility that is accessible to those with special needs. Doors open at 6 PM and program starts at 7 PM.
Coming on Thursday December 8 at the Memorial Theater is the annual Chautauqua style Food For The Hungry concert, this year featuring the music of The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Emmy Lou Harris. Donation of food and/or money will benefit the Food For The Hungry campaign.
