Decide for yourself after hearing the man talk about his life and his upcoming travels to Montana Territory as Custer speaks at the Chautauqua Series on Thursday September 26, 2013. The Chautauqua will take place at ThePlace@TheWoodward (111 S. Main Street in downtown historic Mount Vernon, Ohio). Doors open at 6 PM at this first floor, handicapped accessible facility and the program begins at 7 PM with a 30 minute presentation of Civil War era songs and stories by Steve Ball.
At approximately 7:45 PM, George Armstrong Custer portrayed by Mike Petee and at the conclusion of his presentation Custer will take questions from the audience.

OWL CREEK consisting of Alison Cline, Bill Miller, Roy Rush, Skip Trask and Mike Petee [sorry Sarah Goslee Reed can't make it this month but she'll be back next month] will play on donation basis at SIPS Coffeehouse & Cafe located at 101 S.
