On Thursday December 1 at 7 PM at ThePlace@TheWoodward (now at its new location S. Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon), the Chautauqua Series presents Greg Patterson as Bing Crosby, presenting a first person living history performance as if he is presenting one of Bing’s historic Christmas television specials.
The Chautauqua Series, concluding its 10th season with a Food For The Hungry concert at the Memorial Theater December 8 with music of the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Emmy Lou Harris, is the only year round monthly Chautauqua in the United States, and its right here in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The programs are supported in part by a grant from the Ariel Foundation. The Series is presented on a donation basis with all monies collected going to the performers on stage.
