Performers
Jeff Putnam-Upper Arlington native Jeff Putnam has lived in Knox County for over thirty years. Jeff began playing guitar in the eighth grade, and his first musical heroes were, in fact, Peter, Paul & Mary, whom he saw in concert in 1965 at the old Vets' Memorial in Columbus. He remembers singing such songs as "If I Had a Hammer" with his dad and brothers to the accompaniment of ukuleles. He has portrayed numerous musical figures in the Elixir Presents Chautauqua series since 2009, including Buddy Holly, Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, and Roy Orbison.
Mike Petee –  Mike is a singer/songwriter for over 45 years and has had songs included in Emmy Award nominated films. He has written 2 plays that have been staged in Mount Vernon, “With Pen in Hand (The Dan Emmett Story)” that tells the story of the Knox County man who was part of the origin of the Minstrel Show and author of the song “Dixie’s Land” and “Leave’M Laugh’N” that follows the story of William Wright, whose pen name was Dan DeQuille, who was an early mentor of Mark Twain. Mike has appeared in all the Foodstock programs performing as Paul McCartney, Jim Morrison and Tom Petty among others.  Mike has portrayed characters as well in the Chautauqua Series including Jesse James, P.T. Barnum and William Tecumseh Sherman among others.
Chris Petee –A Danville native, after high school Chris enlisted in the Air Force.  She sang and played guitar in two Air Force Chapel Folk Choirs, the first at Vandenberg AFB in California and Rhein Main AFB in West Germany. While stationed at Rhein Main AFB, she was the main entertainment for the Officers Christmas Dinners and performed at German-American festivals. Chris was a runner up in the European Air Force Tops In Blue talent contest.  After taking some time off to raise a couple of kids she returned to theater, musicals, folk choir and became one of the three members of the Americana  music trio Elixir, with her husband Mike and Gerry Rensel.  For 15 years Elixir traveled the state of Ohio singing at schools, libraries, museums, festivals and theaters.  Since the retirement of Elixir Chris has continued to sing as a solo artist performing American 1700’s folk songs, Mary in Peter, Paul and Mary, Linda Ronstadt and  a one woman act as Rosemary Clooney.  She has also portrayed Clara Barton, Elizabeth Van Lew and Minnie Pearl and recently adding WWII pop songs to her repertoire.
Bill Miller earned a B.A. in Music from Ohio State University, where he studied Ethnomusicology and Jazz performance. He has spent the last 30 years traveling throughout the USA for music camps, workshops and festivals, studying and playing a diverse range of instruments and styles.

Sarah Goslee Reed -Sarah grew up in a house full of music. While her father played the bassoon in the Cleveland Orchestra and her mother played the cello and string bass, she fell in love with the folk music of the sixties and the Beatles. Based upon her knowledge of the violin, Sarah taught herself to play guitar and learned songs by listening to records. Songwriting is as much a passion as singing, and several of her songs have received awards, been arranged for choirs as well as orchestrated as instrumentals. Currently recording a new CD, Sarah has nine other recordings for all ages, including children and families. She lives in Mount Vernon, with her husband, pets and numerous plants, plays violin in the Knox County Symphony and spends her spare time gardening, knitting and playing with her grandchildren. All recordings are available online. Visit www.sarahgosleereed.com for more information.

Chris Noon and Bob Ford have been part of Ohio's Folk music for many years.  Chris has been part of the group Traveling ARCberries and uses his music to work with people with disabilitlies.  Bob uses his music to teach history and has performed for over 300.000 students across the Midwest.  You may have seen him performing with The Ragamuffins.  Together Chris and Bob have performed across Ohio at the Dublin Irish Festival, the Ohio Renaissance Festival, Tallships, the Feast of the Flowering Moon, opened for Al Stewart and have performed at Irish Pubs too numerous to name.  They love using their music to help folks and strongly support this Foodstock Concert.
